Reviews at Amazon:
I thoroughly enjoyed Mike Kearby’s dark, futuristic outlook of a society that labels its criminals by color. It’s the kind of story that grabs you quickly and wont let you go. It is certainly thought provoking, and masterly creative. More than just a great read, I think it would make a great movie, and it has the depth to be used in a classroom study.
Men of Color is a chilling, thought-provoking story about an expedient criminal justice system. This futuristic tale is reminiscent of Shirley Jackson’s The Lottery and like the seminal classic is a compelling look at culture and society. Mike Kearby’s writing style is rhythmic, almost poetic and the story will haunt you long after you have read the last word.
